Your Well-Being

Well-being is defined as a contented state of being happy and healthy and prosperous.  We strive in not only helping you see better but in helping you feel better, in every aspect.  Here are some of the things that have helped us along the way.

Foods to help with dry eye:

Chia Seeds – Omega 3
Vitamin C
Flax Seed Oil (for women we recommend Essential Women Oil, which also contains Evening Primrose Oil, found in Whole Foods)

Stress Reduction:

Cardiovascular exercise in the AM: helps ramp up cortisol levels while decreases melatonin levels so that we have energy to get through the day.
Yoga Practice in the PM: Helps ramp up melatonin while decreases cortisol so that we can wind down and have a restful sleep. Women should get 7 hours and men should get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night.
Decrease caffeine and sugar intake.
Maintain a whole foods plant based diet.
